SEMIAUTOMATIC MACHINES with digital readout units – models 3M193F2 – 3M198F2

Heavy duty circular grinding machines are intended for outer grinding of cylindrical and tapered surfaces (except machine 3M198F2).

Machines can be equipped with CNC systems, electric drives and electric accessories from both domestic and foreign companies (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Fagor, Heidenhain).

Design features

• Control of wheelhead feed is made by single-axis NC unit
• Manual cross feed of grinding wheel and manual table movement are made from “electric flywheels”. 
• Machines are equipped with operator’s panel for digital indication of cross feed rates of grinding wheel and table movement
• Infinitely variable control of product rotation frequency, speed of cross and longitudinal feeds enables to make grinding in optimum modes
• Cutting speed (50 m/s or 9840 "/min) guarantees high performance and grinding quality
• Grinding wheel spindle rotates in hydrodynamic plain bearings with non-circulating flow lubrication that (due to zero wear of bearings) provides constant grinding conditions with any cutting speed 
• Rolling screw-motion drive in feed unit guarantees high accuracy of wheelhead movement despite appeared external loads on wheelhead 
• Application of antifriction slideways increases response of wheelhead and bottom table to small movements, providing high positional repeatability
• Hydraulic equipment and electric accessories are beyond the machine, which helps to decrease considerably influence of temperature deformations and vibrations on grinding accuracy
• Installation of two-stage coolant cleaning system increases grinding quality and extends service life of the coolant system itself 
• Check indicator for grinding wheel oscillation ranges helps to minimize imbalance of grinding wheel through the balancer 
• Machines can be equipped with dressing units: mandrels (mounted on the tail-stock) for diamond pen or hard-alloy disc and intended for dressing of grinding wheel face; multipurpose dressing unit (mounted on the table) for dressing of grinding wheel face at any angle; unit for grinding wheel automatic dressing (mounted on the wheelhead).
